About Lisa

Lisa has always been a movement enthusiast, taking part in many sports and forms of exercise over the years including running, tennis, squash, yoga, HIIT and strength training. Her love of Pilates began in 2010 when she attended a reformer class. She was immediately hooked, enjoying the combination of resistance training with the focus on correct alignment. It provided a refreshing change to the usual gym environment and a welcome counterbalance to long days sitting at a desk in the office. Lisa credits Pilates with helping keep her strong her throughout her first pregnancy and after having children, she returned to her practice.

During COVID, Lisa decided to take her love of Pilates to the next level and to share her passion for this transformative method with others. She completed her comprehensive teacher training (across all pilates apparatus) with BASI Pilates and she has been teaching ever since. Lisa strongly believes that Pilates is good for everybody and every body! 

The Studio

Teaching out of a thoughtfully designed and well-equipped home studio in South West London, Lisa offers studio classes to clients of all abilities from first timers to those who have been practising for years. A calm, nurturing space for clients to connect body and mind and to discover all the benefits of the Pilates Method. With access to a range of pilates apparatus including reformer, Wunda chair and spine corrector (all BASI Systems), you can be certain you will move mindfully, work hard and align your body in the most effective and enjoyable way.
